WILD STREET

 For the 2008 Extreme Drag Race Shootout, Bully Performance Clutch WILD STREET will work to suit the needs of having a stock type/limited modified suspension, small tire class for production door cars. This class will permit the use of different style of DOT approved tire however will work to promote the use of the Drag Radial DOT tire.

Entry Fee $120 - Includes Car, Driver and one crew member. Your entry fee includes one Free Meal Pass to the Meet The Stars Of The EDRS BBQ on Saturday night.
Lucas Oil Products has stepped up their sponsorship this year with Sponsorship of the World Street Event but also as the Official Oil of the Extreme Drag Race Shootout. As the Official Oil of the EDRS, they will be providing the first 300 cars in the gates with 4 quarts of Lucas Oil Products Synthetic Oil and 1 quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer.

RULES FOR WILD STREET
|
|
Chassis & Suspension
Stock-type chassis vehicles with limited types of replacement rear suspension components (see below), and any type of bolt-in style replacement front suspension permitted.
Must retain stock frame rails in factory location. Frame rails may be notched for tire clearance (back-half prohibited). Mini tubs permitted.
Any type of stock type bolt-in style rear suspension components permitted. No aftermarket four links whatsoever permitted. Coil-over conversions permitted but must add 100 pounds to basic weights. Ladder bars permitted but must add 100 pounds to basic weights. (see basic weights below)
Body
Any type of lightweight body panels permitted.
All body panels must be present and properly fastened to vehicle.
Vehicle must have ALL factory style lighting in place. No covered headlights/taillights permited
Basic Weights (all weights are with Driver)
3,300-pound minimum weight. (All weights are with driver)
Deduct 400 lbs. for nitrous small block combinations
Deduct 500 lbs. for small block naturally aspirated combinations.
Engine
Any engine configuration permitted
Power Adder
Any single type of power adder permitted. Multiple stages of Nitrous Oxide permitted. Twin turbos permitted. (no mixing of power adders)
Transmission
Automatic transmission with converter or OEM style stick-shift with single disc clutch. Clutchless transmissions prohibited.
TIRES - Vehicle must be equipped with D.O.T. Tire.
Drag Radial DOT tires up to a maximum of 12.0" measured width. Drag Radial equipped entries deduct 100# from base weights (see basic weights above)
Bias Ply DOT tires maximum 10.4" measured tread width.
Misc.
No wheelie bars
Gasoline fuel only is permitted
